Philadelphia 76ers need Furkan Korkmaz to step up … again

Matisse Thybulle will be reevaluated in two weeks after sustaining a bone bruise and a knee sprain in Sunday’s win over Washington. Until then, the Philadelphia 76ers will need to fill his void in the rotation.

An obvious candidate to see an uptick in minutes is James Ennis, who remains the most reliable option in Brett Brown’s second unit. Inevitability, however, multiple players will need to step up in Thybulle’s absence. More than anyone, it’s Furkan Korkmaz who needs to revive his early-season groove.

After a quick start to the season — game-winner in Portland included — Korkmaz has come back to earth.
