NORMAN – Lincoln Riley’s first contract as Oklahoma’s head football coach was released by the university on Tuesday afternoon.
As announced during the summer, the five-year deal begins with Riley being paid $3.1 million this year.
Bonuses written in the contract will boost Riley’s pay by $200,000 every Feb. 1 and an annual stay benefit of $500,000 will be added on June 1 during the life of the contract.
During a Tulsa World interview held in Riley’s office last summer, the coach was asked his future rich contract.
