Every game, every shift, every second is pivotal for Ottawa Senators prospect Logan Brown.
Brown, who played the second game of his career Thursday against New Jersey — ending two weeks of anxiously sitting out — recognizes there is no margin for error for young players in his situation.
Under Senators coach Guy Boucher, the leash for kids to make mistakes is nowhere near as long as the rope for veterans.
“For me, it’s just a couple of bad turnovers here or there last game that I want to clean up and to be better in the defensive zone,” Brown said before the puck dropped.
