The Ottawa Senators won't waste any time giving their prospects a test with Round 1 of the Battle of Ontario Monday night at the Canadian Tire Centre.
As the pre-season gets under way, the Senators will face the Toronto Maple Leafs in a back-to-back series that will continue Tuesday night at the Air Canada Centre. Craig Anderson will make the start and play 30 minutes while Danny Taylor is scheduled to play the second half.
Coach Guy Boucher said the final score makes no difference whatsoever. The Senators want to get a look at what they've got.
