Logan Brown travelled to western Canada in style last week, living the life of charter flights and high-end hotels, all the while earning a big-league salary for the first time in his life.
Ultimately, though, he didn’t receive what he most wanted on the Ottawa Senators trek to Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton — a chance to prove himself as an NHL player.
That will change Thursday, as the 19-year-old centre will play in his second NHL game against the high-scoring and highly-entertaining New Jersey Devils — the old boring trapping squad is a distant memory — at Canadian Tire Centre.
