After riding the high that was last night’s 6-2 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first unofficial game of the season, Sens fans were given some devastating news this afternoon.
Pierre Dorion tells the media this morning that Colin White has suffered a broken left wrist. Out 6-8 weeks.

Late in the third period on Monday night, White knelt to block a point shot but got his left hand in the way. He hobbled off the ice in obvious agony.
With Brassard most likely out for the beginning of the regular season, many thought White was sure to crack the NHL roster this season.
