Marvin Wilson believes he has some unfinished work to do at Florida State and the senior defensive tackle isn’t going to let concerns over the coronavirus pandemic prevent him from finishing his football career with the Seminoles.
“I didn’t come back to sit out or opt-out to prepare for the league [NFL],” Wilson said during a videoconference call Thursday. “I think that’s taking the easy way out. For me personally, I came back because I have work to do here in Tallahassee and I’m going to get it done.”
Ten players have announced they will forgo the upcoming season, including Miami defensive end Gregory Rousseau, Minnesota receiver Rashod Bateman and Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons.
