The Miami Dolphins, led by general manager Chris Grier and coach Brian Flores, were the focus in one of the NFL’s most popular weekly columns on Monday.
While Flores maintains a win-now mode as coach and Grier is credited for his wheeling and dealing as Dolphins czar, both remain on the same page with their present and future visions of the team.
Flores’ background as a scout with the New England Patriots also allows him to see both sides.
Flores said: “You mentioned that philosophically, coaches are about today and not about the future. I guess I’m more in tune with the future.
