Dolphins-Bills game goes into lightning delay after third quarter begins; play set to resume soon

Shortly after Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick completed a 15-yard pass to receiver DeVante Parker — two plays into the second half — referees ordered both teams back into the locker room at 2:49 p.m.

The Dolphins trail, 17-10, after a first half that saw Miami’s defense give up 342 yards of offense to quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills.

Fitzpatrick threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to Parker with 38 seconds remaining in the first quarter to tie the game at 7, and Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders kicked a 52-yard field goal with 2 seconds left in the second quarter to keep the contest close.
