Cole Anthony scores career-high 37 points as Magic close season with loss at 76ers

The Orlando Magic’s seventh straight loss closed out one of the most challenging seasons in franchise history as they dropped their finale 128-117 to the host Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday before a crowd of 5,119 at Wells Fargo Center.

Cole Anthony scored a career-high 37 points, going 14-for-14 from the free-throw line, to lead the Magic, who finished 21-51. Moritz Wagner scored 14 points while Donta Hall had 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Tyrese Maxey finished with 30 points while Isaiah Joe had 17 points and Wekiva High alum Paul Reed recorded 17 points and 12 rebounds for the 76ers (49-23).
