Louis King, consensus 5-star SF, commits to Oregon Ducks

For months, there's been significant speculation that the 2018 recruiting class could be a special group for the Oregon Ducks men's basketball program.

On Thursday, Oregon delivered, landing consensus five-star small forward Louis King, who chose the Ducks over fellow finalists Kansas, North Carolina State, Purdue and Seton Hall:

The 6-foot-8, 195-pound wing, out of Hudson Catholic High School (Burlington, New Jersey), is rated the nation's No. 16 prospect overall by 247Sports, making him the third highest-rated commitment for Oregon since 2002, behind only Troy Brown Jr.
