EUGENE, Ore. — Playing after a two-week layoff and without two key players due to COVID-19 protocols, the No. 21 Oregon men's basketball team lost 75-64 to Oregon State on Saturday night in Matthew Knight Arena.

With leading scorer Chris Duarte and starting swingman LJ Figueroa watching from the bench in street clothes, the Ducks struggled to solve OSU's defense. More than half Oregon's field-goal attempts — 29 out of 54 — were from three-point range, and the Ducks shot 38.9 percent overall. Oregon also was badly outrebounded, 42-23, including on its own end, where the Ducks had just five offensive boards.
