Tramel: Oklahoma State takes down Kansas basketball on Isaac Likekele's 3-point shot

The script was quite familiar for OSU basketball. Another huge lead lost. Another promising season about to topple over the brink.

Mike Boynton’s Cowboys, who led TCU by eight points with 2½ minutes left and West Virginia by 19 points in the second half, only to lose both games, were at it again. Kansas had wiped out a 16-point deficit with 9:05 left in the game and led OSU 70-67 at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

The Cowboys’ offense was gone. OSU had played superbly in the first half, but the fountain was clogged. After Isaac Likekele’s 3-point play had given the Cowboys a 65-49 lead, OSU wilted.
