Not often in a college soccer press conference do Scottish weather trends come up, however, when asking about unique conditions in soccer matches, it is perfectly reasonable.
“First of all, it seems like it’s always thirty degrees colder in Scotland than it is here,” OSU coach Colin Carmichael said. “There’s been some really cold games.”
Carmichael said that the coldest match during his time at OSU he can remember is a match the team hosted in Stillwater against Iowa State around 20 years ago.
“It was brutal,” Carmichael said.
