Suprise of the game: OSU vs. West Virginia

Related Topics: West Virginia

The Oklahoma State defense had another great outing in the Cowboy’s 27-13 win against West Virginia. OSU was up 20-7 at halftime, but the Cowboys didn’t score again until the final two minutes of the game. During the scoreless stretch, the defense held strong and helped out the struggling offense.

Altogether the defense had five sacks, 11 tackles for loss, six pass breakups, and a scoop and score. When trying to pick my surprise of the game, the obvious choice would be senior running back LD Brown with his 103-yard game and a touchdown, but I wanted to go outside the box.
