Oklahoma State has secured its longtime athletic director Mike Holder through the 2020-21 academic year.

Holder, who has been OSU's AD since 2005, will receive a pay raise to $950,000 a year, a significant increase from the $640,000 he received in 2017-18, after the OSU/A&M Board of Regents approved his three-year contract extension.

Holder, a former OSU golf coach, has showcased his emphasis on improving OSU's athletic facilities and his desire to build an athletic village, as almost every OSU sport has received or will receive a new venue or significant improvements on its venue during Holder's tenure.
