Oklahoma State’s 2020 season opener vs. Oregon State to be canceled as Pac 12 moves to conference-only schedule, per report

Oklahoma State will have a new season opener as the Pac 12 is expected to announce it is moving to a conference-only schedule, according to Nicole Auerbach of The Athletic.

The Cowboys were slated to play Oregon State on Thursday, Sept. 3 at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater. OSU defeated the Beavers 52-36 in last year’s season opener at Reser Stadium in Corvallis, Oregon. Chuba Hubbard rushed for 221 yards and three touchdowns for the Cowboys, while Tylan Wallace caught five passes for 92 yards and two scores in the win.
