What started as a small idea from former Oklahoma State soccer player Lana Duke her freshman season has blossomed into a massive event.
The Student Athletic Advisory Committee hosted its fourth annual N7 Field Day on Monday at Boone Pickens Stadium. The event offered kids in third through eighth grade to take a day off from school to meet OSU athletes, tour campus and get active while learning about their Native American heritage. N7 is the Nike movement “to bring sport and all of its benefits to Native American and Aboriginal communities in the United States and Canada,” according to the N7fund website.
