It appears to be an indication the university and Gundy have finally agreed to terms on the contract, nine months after an original extension for Gundy was approved but never signed.

Gundy, 49, has three seasons left on his current deal, which was signed in 2012 and runs through the 2019 season. He is slated to make $3.9 million in 2017, $4.025 million in 2018 and $4.15 million in 2019.

Last June, the Oklahoma State/A&M Board of Regents approved a two-year extension for Gundy last June that would have kept his salary at $4.
