After splitting its games Thursday at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic, the Oklahoma State softball team fell 4-1 against fifth-ranked Oregon and lost 9-4 to Mississippi State in Cathedral City, California, on Friday.
With the losses, No. 18 OSU (9-5) has dropped three straight games after starting with its best 10-game record to start a season in program history. OSU faces UC Davis at 11:30 a.m. Saturday before returning to Stillwater for a five-game stretch in Cowgirl Stadium at the Mizuno Classic.
OSU looked for its second top 10 win of the season against Oregon, but the Ducks had other plans.
