The Oklahoma State women’s tennis team will leave Las Vegas with a pair of victories after defeating Washington State and No. 45 UNLV.
The No. 7 Cowgirls (13-3) reigned in the Cougars (9-5) on Monday with a convincing 4-0 sweep.
OSU continues to assert its dominance in doubles. The tandems of No. 6 Carla Tur Mari and Vladica Babic and No. 37 Sofia Blanco and Aliona Bolsova seized their matches 6-2, improving OSU’s doubles record to 13-2 this dual season.
The Cowgirls didn’t let up after getting out to an early 1-0 advantage. Katarina Stresnaskova and Lena Ruppert ballooned OSU’s lead to 3-0 after snatching victories easily on Court 5 and Court 6.
