The Big 12 preseason poll slates the Cowgirls as runners-up in the conference. After finishing the 2019 season with the best record of the conference, OSU was passed over for Texas Tech.
The poll marks the first time the Red Raiders have been selected as the Big 12 favorite. The preseason poll is decided by votes from the conference’s coaches.
OSU finished with three first-place votes and Baylor received one while Texas Tech was awarded the other six.
