Isaac Likekele swiftly responded when the basketball hit the right side of the rim and bounced over the hoop.
Likekele, a freshman starting point guard on the Oklahoma State men’s basketball team, approached the basket and stared up at the ball. As it fell toward him, he extended his arms and jumped, tipping the ball into the hoop and further shielding the Cowboys against the threat of a continued historic losing streak.
OSU pushed past Texas Christian University 68-61 on Monday night in Gallagher-Iba Arena. The Cowboys ended their longest Big 12 losing stretch of eight games.
