TCU coach Gary Patterson has been sparse with his quarterback comments this season. The Horned Frogs have alternated true freshman Max Duggan and Kansas State transfer Alex Delton through two games.
But Duggan played the majority of TCU’s 34-13 victory at Purdue last Saturday, and on the Big 12 coaches teleconference Monday, Patterson turned downright loquacious. Delton has started both Frog games this season, but Duggan played the majority of snaps at Purdue, and when asked if Duggan could start this Saturday against SMU, Patterson said, “Maybe.
“If we see a guy’s in rhythm and he’s moving and they’re doing well, then we stay with the guy.
