NORMAN — A bye week wasn't enough to keep Oklahoma in the top five in the latest Associated Press top 25 poll.
The Sooners dropped to No. 6, getting passed by Ohio State by a small margin. The Buckeyes received 1,288 points in the poll, while the Sooners received 1,283.
Ohio State beat Miami (Ohio) 76-5 on Saturday to improve to 4-0.
The top four remained the same — Clemson at the top followed by Alabama, Georgia and LSU. Auburn, Wisconsin, Florida and Notre Dame round out the top 10.
