NORMAN — When the matchups were first revealed for the College Football Playoff semifinals, the Sugar Bowl quickly sold out and fans looking to get into the Clemson-Alabama matchup sent the prices soaring.
But in the week-plus since, demand for the Jan. 1 Rose Bowl between Oklahoma and Georgia has steadily grown.
As of Tuesday evening, Rose Bowl tickets started at $285 each on Vivid Seats, a popular secondary ticket site. Seats on StubHub.com were available for just under $300.
Seats for the Sugar Bowl started at approximately $250.
At the same time, there were still Rose Bowl tickets available on the primary market, though not without an additional hospitality package that raised the price well above face value.
