PASADENA, Calif. — Jaden Davis continues to make a push for more playing time.
The Oklahoma freshman cornerback came off the bench early in the Sooners’ 48-14 win over UCLA as part of what has become a strong three-man cornerback rotation.
Davis led the Sooners with six tackles — all unassisted. No other OU defender had more than three.
“He just continues to impress as a young guy in the program and obviously there’s been a need in the secondary for a mature kid to come in and produce for us,” defensive coordinator Alex Grinch said.
