Athletic success seems to be contagious at Baylor.
When the Sooners play the Bears in Waco, Texas, on Monday, they will be taking on the country's No. 2-ranked men's basketball team. Baylor is the only Big 12 team still undefeated in conference play — dominating Kansas and battling back to beat Oklahoma State.
“They're one of the top one- or two-ranked teams in the country right now, and deserving of that,” Oklahoma coach Lon Kruger said. “Very good team. They got size. They got terrific guard play, and our guys know what the challenge is, but I know they won't shy away from it.
