OU football: Offensive line struggling to find groove for Sooners

Offensive line struggling to find groove for Sooners

OU’s offensive line was supposed to be one of its strengths this season.

Through two games, including Saturday’s 38-35 loss to Kansas State, it hasn’t been anywhere close to a strength.

The Sooners struggled to protect Spencer Rattler and give their running backs much room to work with against the Wildcats.

Things briefly started looking up late in the first quarter when starting left tackle Erik Swenson, who struggled through the first two series, was replaced by freshman Anton Harrison.

Harrison was initially listed atop the depth chart at the position but missed the opener, presumably due to COVID testing or contact tracing protocol.
