"When the rocket launches Nov. 5 against UTSA, all I want to do is be the most competitive guy on the court," the freshman point guard said.
Oklahoma basketball's opening date had yet to be announced, but an OU spokesman confirmed the Sooners will indeed open their season Tuesday, Nov. 5 against the Roadrunners.
Oklahoma beat UTSA 87-67 last season in San Antonio. UTSA is coached by former OU assistant Steve Henson.
The opening home stand will be brief. OU will travel to Sioux Falls, South Dakota for a Nov.
