The Associated Press released its mid-season All-America team on Tuesday, and four Sooners made the cut — including three on the first team.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield, offensive lineman Orlando Brown and linebacker Ogbonnia Okoronkwo each made the first team. Tight end Mark Andrews received a second-team honor.
Mayfield has again been the country's most efficient passer by a wide margin. After breaking the NCAA single-season record as a junior with a mark of 196.4, Mayfield has posted a new high-water mark of 207.3. He has 1,937 yards and 17 touchdowns to just one interception so far this season.
