Cowgirls close strong for Bedlam sweep

NORMAN — Oklahoma State freshman Braxtin Miller giggled as she prepared to describe how she was feeling at the free-throw line with 1.7 seconds to go and her team clinging to a one-point lead in hostile territory at Oklahoma's Lloyd Noble Center on Saturday.

“I was really nervous,” she said, mimicking her trembling hands as she raised them for her two free throws.

You couldn't tell it watching Miller swish both shots to cap the No. 24 Cowgirls' 70-67 win over OU to seal a regular-season Bedlam sweep.

“This is the first experience I've had like this at this level,” Miller said of the Bedlam environment.
