Thunder journal: Westbrook reflects on new All-Star process, not disappointed with starter snub

Russell Westbrook has two All-Star Game Most Valuable Player awards under his belt. He's won both without being voted a starter by the fans.

When the All-Star starters were revealed on Thursday, Westbrook was once again short of the required votes to receive a starting nod in the Western Conference. Only two backcourt players are picked to start from each conference and Westbrook was beat out for the second-consecutive season by the wildly popular Stephen Curry and James Harden.

On Friday, before the Thunder headed to Cleveland, Westbrook said he's not disappointed by missing out on the starting spot.
