Thunder: Chris Paul 'very serious' about 2020 Olympics

Thunder point guard Chris Paul said Saturday that he's "very serious" about representing Team USA in the 2020 Olympics this summer in Tokyo.

On Monday, Paul was named one of 44 finalists for the Olympic roster.

Paul is a two-time Olympic gold medalist. He played on Team USA in 2008 and 2012 but sat out in 2016.

"I was blessed and fortunate to play in 2008," Paul said. "I had no kids then. In 2012, my wife couldn't come because four days after the gold medal game she had my daughter."

Only LeBron James has played in more international games than Paul.
