Thunder beats downtrodden Warriors in game that reminds how NBA landscape has changed

All the elements of revenge were bundled in one possession.

Hamidou Diallo leapt from beyond the restricted area and flushed an angry one-handed slam over 6-foot-9 Golden State forward Marquese Chriss. The Thunder’s pinball sequence of four passes to set up the second-quarter poster dunk was Warriors-esque — the Warriors of old, that is.

Not the 2-8 gold-clad group of fill-ins who were defeated 114-108 Saturday night in Oklahoma City.

It was the Thunder’s (4-5) second win over the Warriors in the last two weeks. OKC and the rest of the league are beginning to pay back the misery Golden State dealt its opponents over the last five years.
