Thunder avoids payback for record-setting comeback, holds off Bulls 124-122

The Thunder had been on the other end of this before.

OKC had been the one storming back from an improbable deficit. It had been the team catching fire in the second half. Against the same opponent, no less.

But on Tuesday at the United Center, Chicago flipped the script. The Thunder needed defensive heroics to pull out a 124-122 win against a severely shorthanded Bulls team. OKC extended its road winning streak to a record-setting nine games.

In the first half, the Thunder (36-22) reversed the mistakes it made the last time it played the Bulls (20-39).
