Brian Snead appeared in two games this season for the Ohio State Buckeyes before being suspended, without an official explanation ever being offered for why. Now, after not playing in any contests since the Week 2 meeting with Rutgers, Snead is officially no longer part of the OSU football team.
First reported by Tom Orr of The Ozone.net, the spring rosters reflected the news: Brian Snead’s name was absent.
Getting 11 carries combined against Oregon State and the Scarlet Knights, Snead collected 37 yards and a touchdown. But, he didn’t travel with the team to Arlington, Texas, to face TCU — and the rest is history.
