As college football is in the midst of its silly season with coaching changes happening across the country, one rumor that had been floated is that Ohio State Buckeyes running back coach Tony Alford was connected to the recently opened head coaching job at his alma mater, Colorado State Rams. Previous head coach Mike Bobo left Fort Collins after going 4-8 in 2019.
However, according to Football Scoop, there is an Ohio State offensive coach rumored to be in the running to replace Bobo — now the offensive coordinator at South Carolina — but it’s not Alford, it is co-offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson.
