Nearly every week of the Ohio State Buckeyes’ season we’ve thought, “Maybe this is the week the Buckeyes get seriously challenged.”
First was the Cincinnati Bearcats, a team with a solid defense that could surprise an OSU team that was still figuring things out with Justin Fields (42-0).
Then “College GameDay” went to Lincoln for the Nebraska Cornhuskers’ night game. The Huskers played it close last year and many though their offense could create explosive plays on the OSU defense (48-7).
The Michigan State Spartans weren’t expected to be much of a challenge offensively, but they drag teams down to their level enough that maybe it would be a tough win (34-10).
