Tight ends coach Bobby Johnson, Raiders head coach ‘candidate’ not staying in Oakland after all?

It appears the Raiders may be parting ways with tight ends coach Bobby Johnson after all, and is expected to replace him with former Bears tight ends coach Frank Smith. This according to Adam Caplan.

#Raiders coaching news, per sources: Team is parting ways with TEs coach Bobby Johnson and is expected to hire Frank Smith, who coached #Bears TEs the past 3 years.

This report comes a day after a report that said Johnson among four other coaches were “likely” sticking with the team under new head coach Jon Gruden.
