The AFC West has resolved into being the worst division in football this year. Three teams, including the Oakland Raiders, are all tied atop the division at 6-6. Oakland will play the arch rival Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday afternoon in Week 14. It looks like they will be doing so with Kansas City’s best cornerback in Marcus Peters.
According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, “Chiefs head coach Andy Reid says he is suspending [cornerback] Marcus Peters for [one] game. He is out against the Raiders.” Rapoport would add that Peters “leaving the field of play while the game was on” is a big reason behind this suspension.
