Raiders tackle Trent Brown, who nearly didn’t play against the Vikings because of knee troubles, will have his status for this week’s game evaluated Wednesday after suffering an ankle injury in Sunday’s loss.
Coach Jon Gruden, speaking with reporters on Monday, sounded somewhat concerned about his high-priced tackle, who sat out the final drive of Oakland’s 34-14 loss.
“We’ll see the exactness of his injury here in the next couple of hours,” Gruden said. “Obviously, he’s a big part of this team and we need him, but we don’t want to put anybody in danger.
