ALAMEDA — If the Raiders beat the Green Bay Packers Sunday at Lambeau Field, the pipe dream becomes real.
Whether they make the playoffs or not, getting to 4-2 with three straight wins far from home against teams that are postseason worthy would stamp Jon Gruden’s team as playoff contenders.
Granted, we’re not even at midseason, but the AFC has already begun to take shape in terms of who can play and who can’t. And it appears there are at least seven teams whose record and play has made it clear the postseason isn’t happening in 2019.
