Just as Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio said last week, the Raiders would be making a decision one way or the other on rookie top pick cornerback Gareon Conley’s status for the remainder of the season. That decision was made Monday and the team will shutting him down the remainder of the season.
Conley head to injured reserve after failing to recover from a shin injury he suffered back in the team’s June minicamp. He appeared in two games this season in weeks two and three and purportedly aggravated the injury, causing him to miss all six of the team’s games since then.
