Raiders report card: Defensive collapse key in loss to Titans

OAKLAND — How the Raiders graded Sunday in a 42-21 loss to the Tennessee Titans Sunday at the Coliseum:

PASS OFFENSE: C-plus

The Raiders needed an ‘A’ game with Josh Jacobs out but couldn’t sustain a solid first half that ended 21-21. Carr was 12 of 15 for 150 yards at the halftime with touchdown passes of 49 yards to Rico Gafford on a third-and-2 play and 1 yard to Foster Moreau. But back-to-back poor series in the third quarter prove huge as the Titans took charge. In the second half Carr was 13 of 19 for 113 yards and the Raiders failed to score — even when they reached the 1-yard line.
