Oakland Raiders QB Derek Carr is entering the final year of his rookie contract this season. Oakland GM Reggie McKenzie has stated the team will focus on getting a new deal done sometime between the end of the NFL draft and the start of training camp. Carr is reportedly looking to get the contract extension wrapped up as soon as possible.
After being drafted in the second round in 2014, Carr has developed into one of the league’s best young quarterbacks. His overall PFF grade has gone from 47.
