When the Oakland Raiders brought back head coach Jon Gruden, they were bringing someone back who absolutely loves Raider Nation. With Gruden as the head coach of the Raiders in 2018, you can expect some exciting things on the field, and for a few high schools, he brought the excitement to them as well.
Gruden partnered with DICK’S Sporting Goods to give two Oakland area youth football leagues some much-needed money for the upcoming season. Courtesy of the DICK’S Sports Matter program, Gruden and the sports apparel giant gifted both leagues $50,000 dollars, as well as new equipment.
