Breaking: Raiders release offensive tackle Marshall Newhouse

After just one season with the team, the Raiders have cut starting right tackle Marshall Newhouse. The 7-year veteran tackle started 14 games at right tackle for the Raiders in 2017.

He has played in 100 games with 70 starts over his eight-year NFL career with the Packers, Bengals, Giants, and Raiders.

Newhouse’s release clears $2.25 million in cap space, putting the team at around $26 million in cap space as of the start of the free agent negotiating period.
