Khalil Mack unexpectedly got traded from the Raiders, so this revenge game has been a year in the making. Mack’s first season with the Bear, he racked up 12.5 sacks on the Bears way to win the NFC North. The Raiders have allowed eight sacks this season but looked much better last week against the Vikings. Can the Raiders offensive line keep Derek Carr upright or will Mack get after #4?
Jon Gruden’s team does have a few things going for them, however. The Bears will likely be without Roquan Smith and Mitchell Trubisky. Smith has been ruled out indefinitely to deal with a “personal issue.” Recent reports explained that Roquan Smith had not been acting like himself lately and was inactive in Week 4 vs. the Vikings. QB Mitchell Trubisky dislocated his shoulder last week and isn’t likely to play on Sunday. That means backup Chase Daniel is in charge and the Raiders will have to put pressure on the backup early and often.
