Ron Rivera and the Carolina Panthers parted ways two weeks after starting the season 5-7. Rivera was clear about one thing: he wants to coach again. And if you ask Mitch, he should be the Raiders first call to bring in as the defensive coordinator in 2020 for the Las Vegas Raiders.

Raiders assistant coaches on the hot seat include the Linebackers coach, Jim O’Niel and DB coach David Lippincott. The linebackers with the Oakland Raiders have struggled for years, but O’Niel has done little to turn things around allowing Ryan Tannehill to complete 100% of his passes when the closest defender in coverage was a linebacker.
Oakland is giving up 6.1 yards per play this season, which has been a problem all season long. It’s not that shocking with rookie Safety Johnathan Abram, cornerback D.J. Killings, safety Karl Joseph, defensive back Mackinton Dorleant all injured. Following the embarrassing loss to the Titans, Jon Gruden promised “changes.” Could that shake up come in the coaching staff?
